Burn Permits in Eureka Charter Township
According to Eureka Charter Township Ordinance #25, you MUST have a burn permit to burn in the Township. See rules and regulations in section 8 of Ordinance #25.
Applications to burn are available on our website under Forms and in our office. A burn application must be filled out and approved by the Zoning Administrator before you will get a permit number. Once that form is on file, you can be issued a permit number good for 4 days at a time. You may call or come in to get a new permit number each time you need to burn You do NOT need a burn permit if burning in a fire pit or burning barrel with a grate or cover. If you have any questions, please contact Eureka Charter Township and ask to speak with the Zoning Administrator.
Tax Payments are accepted Monday thru Friday, 9 am to 1 pm.
Winter Taxes are due February 16.
We accept payment by check or money order, or by cash on Fridays. We do NOT currently accept credit or debit cards.
Public Hearing Notice
The Eureka Charter Township Planning Commission has scheduled a Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, 7:00 pm, at the Eureka Charter Township Hall, 9322 S. Greenville Road, to gain public comment on amending Ordinance #79, by adding an “Event Venue” definition to Chapter 2 Definitions, Section 2.2 B; and adding subsection
“X. Event Venues” in Chapter 11, Special Land Uses, Section 11.4, Specific Standards for Special Land Uses.
