Our office is OPEN Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 1 pm. Township officials are doing a combination of work from home and work in the office. Please call first to see if the official you want to talk to is in the office that day.

Burn Permits in Eureka Charter Township
According to Eureka Charter Township Ordinance #25, you MUST have a burn permit to burn in the Township. See rules and regulations in section 8 of Ordinance #25.
Applications to burn are available on our website under Forms and in our office. A burn application must be filled out and approved by the Zoning Administrator before you will get a permit number. Once that form is on file, you can be issued a permit number good for 4 days at a time. You may call or come in to get a new permit number each time you need to burn You do NOT need a burn permit if burning in a fire pit or burning barrel with a grate or cover. If you have any questions, please contact Eureka Charter Township and ask to speak with the Zoning Administrator.
TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETINGS
are held on the second Monday of each month.
PLANNING COMMISSION MEETINGS
are held on the third Wednesday of each month.
Both are held at 7:00 pm at the Township Hall.

A Public Hearing has been scheduled during the regular Planning Commission Meeting on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at 7:00 pm to amend Zoning Ordinance #79, adding Drive-Thru Requirements to Sections 11.4 and 14.5.

November 3, 2020
Mon., Oct. 19: Last day to register to vote in any manner other than in person with the local clerk for Nov.3 General Election
Oct. 20-Nov. 3: In-person voter registration with local clerk with proof of residency
Oct. 30: Electors wishing to obtain an Absent Ballot BY MAIL must file an application with the clerk by this date
Saturday, Oct. 31: Hall will be open from 8 am to 4 pm to receive and vote an absent voter ballot in person
Mon., Nov. 2: Hall will be open 9 am to 4 pm for those wishing to obtain an absentee ballot and vote in person
Tues., Nov. 3: GENERAL ELECTION Polls will be open from 7 am to 8 pm
